The searches for Lasik have been rising globally, including the US with the exception of a few countries; India is prominently bucking this trend. Given that there has been a steady rise in the number of Indians experiencing poor eyesight, this trend is surprising. Perhaps one of the reasons could be that awareness is low and Indians don't go for regular eye checkups.
